Court Reporter

Professional and experienced.  In other words, our court reporters are qualified.  AccuWrite Reporting can provide your office a stenographer (machine writer) or a stenomask reporter (voice writer.)  We have court reporters located in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans & many other cities throughout Louisiana.  In addition to many of the cities where our reporters are located, a lot of our court reporters are willing and able to travel.  Another request that we can accommodate is for a court reporter to travel to a witness’s residence.  Furthermore, we can arrange a court reporter for a deposition outside of Louisiana or even outside of the United States, if needed.

Depositions, Sworn Statements, Examinations Under Oath, Conference Meetings, Board Hearings, Public Hearings, Arbitrations & Mediations are some of the situations you may need a court reporter for.  Let us provide you with a court reporter for your specific needs.  Standard turn around time for a transcription service is 10 business days.  However, we can have the transcript expedited to you if you should require it sooner.  Additionally, you can request a rough draft.

Transcript Format

All of our transcripts are provided to you in a variety of different digital formats at no additional cost. Industry standard formats are WordPerfect (.wpd), Adobe PDF (.pdf), ASCII DOS Text (.txt), RealLegal E-Tran (.ptx) & RealLegal West Publisher (.ptz). If you do not see a format that you require please contact our office and we will be glad to help. The majority of top U.S. law firms use Case Notebook or LiveNote software and our software is perfectly compatible with the two.

Any exhibit attached to the deposition will be scanned at 300 dpi (documents) or 600 dpi (photographs). After scanning an exhibit, we then digitally link the exhibit to the Adobe PDF (.pdf) and RealLegal West Publisher (.ptz) file type. Digitally linking exhibits helps to reduce clutter on your computer screen. Instead of having multiple documents opened you can access everything in one single file. Additionally, you can see what exhibits were attached to a transcript at a glance. You don’t want to approach a deadline, only to realize you are missing a crucial document.

Not only do we provide digitally linked exhibits, we also utilize digital and physical word indexing. Think of a word index as a way to quickly locate relevant testimony. Our word indexes are located at the end of every transcript.

A digital media storage device (CD / USB stick) comes standard with all transcript orders and will be attached to the back cover. These devices contain copies of the transcript in the various different formats and individual Adobe PDF (.pdf) scans of any exhibit that was attached to the transcript. Transcript files will also be emailed upon completion of a transcript. If you ever need a replacement device or an email resent please feel free to contact us.
